Bunds and Spill Receptors: Poly Shelving
The bund pictured above is made from high density polyethylene This is a hand made shelf from food grade HDPE
and measures 1100mm x 1100mm x 400mm high. You can see measuring 1330 long x 400 deep and with a 50mm lip
a 150mm x 150mm recess in the front that will accommodate a tap on 3 sides and a 300mm splash back at rear
for drainage without the possibility of it being accidentally hit.
Plasma Thawer:
We made this little watertight acrylic tank for a hospital in Victoria.
They use it to thaw plasma.
You can see the acrylic hangers which sit on the lip of the tank to
which the bags of frozen plasma are attached. A special heater unit is
attached to the back of the tank to warm the water and the lid (which
has a recess in it to accommodate the heater) can be put in place to
save residual heat. It also has a sturdy metal tap for drainage.
Apparently these units are usually imported for the U.S. at a cost of several
thousand dollars however we were able to produce
ours for less than a quarter of the price.

Custom Oven Rack Wash Booth:
One of our customers started up a unique business which specialised in calling
on houses and offering to clean their ovens for them. He asked us to design a
portable wash bay so that he should wash the oven racks without making a mess
in his customer's kitchens. We made this one from chemically resistant
polypropylene complete with a tap fro drainage.

Kebab Maker: Biscuit Tray: (we refuse to say cookie!)

It is a press for making chicken kebabs on skewers. You can guess which was too weak and prone to breaking. We made up some copies out of food

Reject Boxes:

Brochure Displays:
Plasweld can make custom design brochure displays like the ones pictured above. The sample of the left has 40 DL holders with room for signage above whilst the smaller displays on the right hold a single strip of 10 pockets. Sneeze Guards for Farmers Markets:
Portable acrylic sneeze guards have been really popular of late. Probably because the health inspector is cracking down!
The guards pictured enable the stall holder to operate out of the back of their van by displaying their produce in an eye catching yet hygienic way. The shelf at the top makes a handy service counter. All sizes and configurations can be accommodated.
